Father’s Day 

This one is for those whose relationship is sprinkled and even littered with abuse 

Those who had say goodbye

Those whose fathers are incarcerated 

Those whose fathers did not support them 

Those whose fathers projected their own trauma

Those who are untangling the knots, trying to figure out if they should accept or reject, yearning to forgive but unable to let go 

You are loved. You are seen. 

My hope for you this year is that you are surrounded by good men, who can show you love in a wholesome capacity. Father figures that can show you not all men are evil, that you are valued. I pray you are strong. This is not any easy road.
